Circular No 1/2017 Deduction on tax at sources income tax deduction from salaries under section 192
Circular No. 1/2017 explains the procedure for deduction of income tax from salaries under Section 192 of the Income-tax Act. It provides guidelines for employers on calculating taxable salary, exemptions, deductions, and monthly TDS deduction from employees’ salaries.
