🚨 We're Hiring | Manager - Legal and Compliance
Location: Gurugram, India
Experience: 3–5 Years
Groyyo is looking for an experienced Manager - Legal and Compliance to lead and strengthen our Legal function across multiple entities and geographies.
Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Gurugram for Manager - Legal and Compliance. The role involves managing all aspects of legal compliance, preparing and maintaining legal documentation, ensuring that the company adheres to regulatory requirements, and offering legal consulting services. The Manager will collaborate with various departments to oversee legal affairs and ensure ethical business practices across the organization.
Qualifications:
• LLB from a reputable institution; CS qualification (ICSI) is a plus
• 3+ years of legal experience with at least 2 years in an in-house role at a startup or tech company
• Working knowledge of Companies Act 2013, FEMA, and general corporate compliance
• Exposure to commercial contract drafting and negotiation across standard agreement types
• Familiarity with equity and/or debt financing documentation at any stage
• Basic understanding of employment law, ESOP frameworks, and HR-facing legal matters
• Ability to manage external counsel and track litigation or dispute matters
• Strong written communication with an ability to simplify legal positions for non-legal stakeholders
